Every 4 to 6 weeks
For optimal results, it is recommended once a week for about four weeks. After that, you can do routine maintenance every four to six weeks.

HOW LONG DOES THE TREATMENT TAKE?

What will I expect from my ZO 3 step peel on the day?
Step 1: Peel Solution

A blend of salicylic acid, trichloracetic acid and lactic acid removes the outer layer of the
epidermis.

Step 2: Retinol Creme 6%

Immediately after your treatment, you will look as though you have a moderate sunburn and your skin may feel warm and tighter than usual. The skin will typically start peeling 2-3 days after you have had the ZO peel treatment, you may peel up to 5 days following the procedure.

WHAT SHOULD I BE CAREFUL WITH AFTER THE PEEL?
You should avoid applying make up and other skin products so that infection is prevented. You should also avoid alcohol consumption after the peel to avoid infection. You should also protect your skin from the sunlight with sunscreen.
HOW OFTEN IS IT RECOMMEDED TO HAVE THIS TREATMENT?
At AMC it is recommended you start on a ZO® program according to your skin type around 4-6 weeks before the 3-Step Peel™ to help strengthen skin and enhance the benefits of it.

The application of this peel can be easily tailored to each person, based on their tolerance level and can be repeated every 3-4 weeks.
However, you should expect some downtime after this peel. To maintain results, the peel should be repeated 2-3 times per year. Then after the skin is fully recovered you should return to your ZO® daily program.
